Since Coach kept wanting to join the broadcast, we're giving him a quarter of his own.

Justin Jefferson, who had joined the simulcast during the electric third quarter of the preseason opener, was asked if he was going to offer any tips to O'Connell.
"Hahaha. I'm glad you told me so now if he doesn't tell me on time, I'm gonna get on him," Jefferson said. "I'm gonna try to get me a little play call somewhere on the field during the game. Hopefully he'll give me a play call so I can throw a little ball up to my receivers.
"I'm always going to joke with him whenever he has that mic on," Jefferson added. "He's a great coach. I love the chemistry he has, especially with his players, the way he connects, the way he talks with us and the way he understands us as players. I feel like it's a really good characteristic as a coach."
Asked if O'Connell is open to him calling a play, Jefferson said the following:
"I hope so. I'm going to ask. We definitely talked about it and said I was going to do it, but it hasn't happened yet, and it's the last game. I can't call it Week 1, so it has to happen."
Note: The pregame radio show on the Vikings Radio Network will begin at 10 a.m. (CT).
